It may be ‚expected‘ that a bride picks her sister to be her MOH, but the truth is, I would have picked Lori to be my MOH even if she was not! She is so much fun to be around and is one of the funniest people I know! Also, when picking a MOH, it is important to not only pick your best friend but to pick someone who will beat up anyone who may make you mad on your wedding day. She has stood by me through everything else in life and now I can’t wait for her to stand by my side while I marry the man of my dreams!
Jessica and I met in Augusta, GA, where we both lived, and immediately clicked! We both ended up going to Georgia Southern University where we got even closer and became the twisted sisters (where my Grey’s Anatomy fans at??)! We have been able to experience so much of our lives together and I am so excited we get to add my wedding to the list! Could not imagine getting married without this lifelong friend standing by my side!
Maria and I met at Georgia Southern through mutual friends and happened to live in the same neighborhood. She is just as goofy as I am and is always down to have a good time! She is so incredibly fun to be around and is one of the most understanding people I know! I could not have made it through college without our late night drives, bonfires, Gnats, and being able to just show up at her house unannounced with no explanation what-so-ever. I can’t wait to go through this crazy experience with her by my side!
Sierra and I met in Augusta, GA through work when we were still in high school. She is literally one of the funniest people I know. All we do is laugh when were together, even when we’re in the middle of a haunted tour and they are talking about someone’s untimely death…. true story. Even though John and Sierra have a love-hate relationship because he likes to instigate and encourage Sierra to make poor choices she has still agreed to be a bridesmaid (thank goodness…)! Can’t wait for her to stand by my side on my big day!
Craig Cooper and Quinten met in college when they lived in the same neighborhood. Quinten’s girlfriend, at the time, had a chihuahua that preferred to hangout in our backyard rather than his. After a few trips to retrieve his girlfriend’s dog, John and Quinten became friends. Note: Quinten is no longer with that girlfriend, does not have a chihauahua and is recently engaged! We couldn’t imagine getting married without you Quintina!
Bobby Allen and Chase have been family friends for as long they can remember. Although John ends up wrestling with him in the front yard every time Chase visits and forces him to do manual labor in 100 degree south Georgia heat, he has still agreed to take part in the wedding… Thanks Chase.
Albert Gibson is the younger brother of the bride, Ashley. Jason, having grown up with two sisters and no brother, is extremely excited to add John to the family and balance out the female/male ratio! Over the past six years of John and Ashley’s relationship, Jason has taken John’s side in arguments much more often than Ashley’s. You have earned a seat at the table.
Richard is John’s younger brother, which may come as a suprise considering they look like twins. They have remained close throughout the years and have a mutual agreement to keep it that way until further notice. One time, as small children, John flipped a go-cart over on Lane’s arm and made him swear not to tell, but Lane is over it, he swears. In 2017, Lane will make fun of John for actually participating in writing a groomsman bio about him, and the wedding website as a whole.
